Jan Vermeyen - Prague goldsmith at the court of Rudolf II.
Šemrincová, Markéta ; Otavský, Karel (advisor) ; Jarošová, Markéta (referee)
This bachelor's thesis "Jan Vermeyen - goldsmith at courtyard of Rudolp II.," is devoted to complicated personality, who Rudolph II. is at first, further his courtyard and his collecting activity. Simultaneously with this are conneted all events which happened in Europe at this period. Further this bachelot's thesis is devoted to biografy of goldsmith, to whom was attributed Rudolph's crown in the beginning of century. Two captures include a summary of his works which was compiled by himself or in cooperation with other Pragues' and Milans' shops, but this artwork was attributed to him in the 20th century. Thanks to this new knowledges crown which is mentioned in final capture.
Stanovení spolehlivých identifikačních znaků kvalitních a silně přirůstavých stromů jako základ probírkové metody cílových stromů
Vícha, Tomáš
The aim of the thesis was determination of features, which indicate trees with above-average increment. The work was carried out in the forest district Borky, which is part of Training Forest Enterprise Masaryk Forest Křtiny. Trees of two main species, e.g. European beech and Norway spruce, were analyzed. In the field, total height, the height of the crown base, occurrence the forks and their heights were measured. Trees were assigned with social status, crown quality and release status. Using a logit model, it was found, that for beech, the only statistically significant parameter was social status. For spruce, diameter, crown length, distance between breast height and crown base, crown quality and the edaphic category were significant predictors of above-average increment. In the end, equations of probability have been compiled.
Stanovení spolehlivých identifikačních znaků kvalitních a silně přirústavých stromů jako základ probírkové metody cílových stromů
Bros, Peter
The aim of this diploma work was to find out and to determine appropriate identificators, which can make it possible to recognize trees with a strong increment. This diploma work sets identification marks for the European larch (Larix decidua) and Scots pine (Pinus sylvestris). Activites associated with determination of appropriate identificators of high quality trees with strong increment were investigated in the forest district Borky at the Training Forest Enterprise „Masarykův les“ Křtiny. We evaluated diameter at breast heigjt, total height , crown base height occurance of the forks, social status, release status and crown quality for every tree. We utilized the logit model, to find out significant identificators. We determined two main statistically significant identificators for the Scots pine – height and diameter at breast height. For the European Larch only the diameter at breast height was statistically significant. Other parameters showed statistical insignificance.

Impact of adjacent trees to mensurational characteristics of yew
Šlemr, Jakub ; Šálek, Lubomír (advisor) ; Stolariková, Radka (referee)
In December 2015 the next part of the research population yew (Taxus baccata) took place in NPR Chlumská stráň. The specimens exceeding 4 meters at height at which the sex is possible to determine were selected from the total population. And from this group 50 individuals were randomly selected and the following characteristics were measured height, breast-height diameter, girth, height deployment of the first green branches, distances ends of the branches from the trunk, a distance of 5 nearest trees, their height and azimuth, also was intended sexes and crown shape. Volume and height of the crown were calculated. The aim is to determine how the surrounding tree species affect mensurational characteristics of the yew not only basic characteristics such as thickness at breast height and tree height, crown but also the crown characteristics and health status. The average diameter of the examined yews is 41,53 cm and a height of 13,66 m. The yew crowns were investigated in detail. The most important and interesting data are the yew crown projection and distances of competing species. The average crown projection yew is 79,25 square meters, the average height of the crown is 12,26 m, the surface of the crown is 2531,46 square meters, the average crown width is 10,36 m and the average volume of 429,80 cubic meters. 95 % of all surveyed yew has asymmetric crown, making it likely the high impact of competitive species. The most abundand species of competitors is hornbeam (Carpinus betulus) with a total of 60 individuals, an average height of 13,6 meters and an average distance of 5,79 meters, followed by lime(Tilia cordata) and manna ash (Fraxinus ornus). Crown yew are deflected to the north, northwest and west direction because of terrain conditions and competing trees. Research in the future should be also focused to the marginal tree species and for yew it should be very appropriate to establish permanent sample plots and to use collected information for return of yew to our forests.
Mensurational and ecological characteristics of oak reserved trees on selected area of 2nd vegetation belt
Šturmová, Iveta ; Šálek, Lubomír (advisor) ; Surový, Peter (referee)
The goal of this thesis is to find out mensurational and ecological characteristics of oak reserved trees on selected locality in 2nd vegetation belt. The locality is situated on upland region close to the town Kroměříž. A part of the thesis is measuring of crown parameters, their projection and development of the crown during competition process. 100 reserved trees were measured for this research, The average crown projection has value of 199,65 m2 which implies that maximal number of reserved trees per 1 hectare is 50. Furthermore, number of dead big branches and number of small and big hollows were recognized. The average number of big dead branches is 5,95. The small hollows occurred only in 8 trees and big hollows in 12 trees. Number of dead tres and hollows are influenced by competitive adjacent trees.
Monetary Reform 1919 in Czechoslovakia
Mrzena, Michal ; Dufek, Pavel (advisor) ; Tajovský, Ladislav (referee)
This thesis will focused on the monetary reform in 1919 in Czechoslovakia. The first part of the thesis describes the creation of an independent Czechoslovakia republic, Austro-Hungarian crown and analysing Alois Rašín's personality so as his economical view. The main part emphasises the preparation and implementation of the monetary reform and how the targets were accomplished. As follows the study concentrates on the concept of monetary policy which pursues the monetary reform that is provided by Rašín's influence and character. After unsuccessful monetary restriction, crown was strengthen via foreign currency exchange and this led to reach Alois Rašín's monetary concept of deflation policy. Not only the study looks into the monetary reform itself but also analyses monetary policy associated with gaining of independency and appreciation of Czechoslovakian currency. The conclusion sums up the monetary reform and shows that the reform itself as the tool of deflation policy didn't succeed and thus the appreciation of the currency through foreign currency had positive but also negative impact on the whole economy.
Mathematical modelling of the Czech crown
SÝKOROVÁ, Hana
This bachelor thesis describes the development of Czech crown exchange rate in relation to American dollar. The introductory part describes particular rates in particular years. It focuses on what the rates were influenced by and how the rates were influenced, as well as if the change of one rate projected in the change of the other one. Goals of this bachelor thesis are to examine some possible mathematical models which deal with modelling Czech crown, as well as to apply Arima model in making the analysis of the time range. The bachelor thesis focuses mainly on the above Arima mathematical model, which will be used in the following practical part. The task given is to model the future possible changes in the rate when neglecting any possible fluctuations in economy.
Exchange rate risk management in international business
Janda, Jan ; Taušer, Josef (advisor) ; Fričová, Jaroslava (referee)
The aim of the thesis was to develop an effective hedge strategy for a Czech importing pharmaceutical company. To this goal, I used both theoretical knowledge from the first and second chapter, and internal data of the company. Particularly, this thesis is dedicated to its management, however, it may also inspire those who are interested in this issue.
